{"id":3221,"date":"2018-10-17T11:53:37","date_gmt":"2018-10-17T11:53:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shiva.pub.ro\/?page_id=3221"},"modified":"2018-10-17T11:53:37","modified_gmt":"2018-10-17T11:53:37","slug":"consensys","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/shiva.pub.ro\/en\/activitate-cercetare\/consensys\/","title":{"rendered":"CONSENSYS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>New dynamic consensus algorithms for building thermal energy management (CONSENSYS)<br \/>\n<\/b>Excellence research grants (GEX-UPB) 2016-2017<\/p>\n<p><i>Abstract:<\/i>\u00a0The CONSENSYS project proposes the study and development of new dynamic consensus algorithms with applications in thermal modeling\/simulation and control of HVAC systems in residential and office buildings. The main novelty stems from the modeling approach using a multi-agent paradigm for the network of thermal zones, their interactions as well as the perturbations generated by the external environment and variable internal loads. This model will serve as the basis for modern control strategies e.g. predictive control, with the aim of combined cost-comfort optimization. It is foreseen the development of a small scale demonstrative system, highlighting the benefits of the new algorithms in a laboratory evaluation setting.
